Specifications: The Canon Powershot SX10IS 10MP digital camera is an excellent mega-zoom camera with a powerful 20x optical zoom (that boasts quiet zooming and a new improved zooming speed) for you to get closer to the action. It also has a 10MP image sensor for taking high-resolution images. It has a 2.5" LCD display that can be rotated and is powered by Canon's DIGIC 4 processor. It comes with a face self-timer, intelligent contrast correction, red-eye correction, MovieSnap feature (that allows you to take photos while recording a video) and a wide range of modes to choose from. It starts up in just 1.5 seconds and has a 2.1 second shot-to-shot lag, which is pretty impressive for this price range. The images taken a very sharp and produces great distortion-free photos.
Overall: Although this model may not be the fastest nor have the most powerful features in the market, it does have a wide range of features that gives you great value for the price that you pay. The quality of the images taken is very good, and thus far, it has proved to be a solid and reliable camera.
